24th Polar Libraries Colloquy, Boulder - cost and accommodations info
We hope to see you at the 24th Colloquy in Boulder from June 11-14, 2012. The conference theme is Cold Regions: Pivot Points, Focal Points.
We will have a web site up early in 2012, but until then we wanted to provide some information on registration fees and accommodation to help you plan to attend. Please email us with any questions.
Approximate registration fees in U.S. dollars are as follows. There may be slight changes in the amounts as we get closer, but these are in the neighborhood:
- Early registration: $300
- Regular and on-site registration: $350
- Single day - Early registration: $110
- Single day - regular and on-site registration $135
- Guest lunch: $15 per lunch
- Guest banquet attendance: $70
We have arranged for a block of discounted rooms at the Boulder Inn, http://boulderinn.com/, which is a 15-minute walk from the conference venue on the University of Colorado-Boulder campus. The Boulder Inn has recently renovated its rooms and public spaces; some have views of the mountains. Rates are $104.00 plus tax per night for a king-sized bed and $114.00 plus tax per night for two queen-sized beds. They are accepting reservations for the discounted rate from November 2011 until May 11, 2012.
We are looking into an optional excursion to Rocky Mountain National Park on Friday, June 15.
